Tai Chi is a profound form of exercise that combines spiralling, twisting, unique silk-reeling movements that adhere precisely to the philosophical Taoist principles of Yin and Yang from the “Yijing” (Book of Changes) designed to activate the body’s energetic meridians. During practice the body remains relaxed with the individuals consciousness, breathing and actions all closely connected to enhance and benefit the mind and body.

Dan Chisholm

An internationally qualified Tai Chi Instructor,  having studied Chen Style Tai Chi for over 20 years under the direct tuition of Grandmaster Chen Zhenglei (the current head of the Chen family) and Grandmaster Liming Yue.

Co-author of Tai Chi for Health with Grandmaster Chen & Grandmaster Yue, Dan was honoured to be officially accepted as a direct line apprentice of Grandmaster Chen Zhenglei back in 2007 and is now a 12th generation direct linage holder of

Chen Style Tai Chi.

Dan Chisholm currently holds 5th Duan Wei (Dan), officially awarded by the Chinese Martial Arts Association, Beijing, China in 2006 - one of the highest grade awarded within China to a U.K. born instructor.
